Your Own a Business in Potchefstroom. Is Your Website Attracting Customers in Potchefstroom?
A website is often the first impression your business makes on potential customers. Whether you’re running a small, cozy café or managing a large organization, having a professional online presence is no longer optional—it’s essential. Successful businesses know that a website isn’t just about being online; it’s about being effective. A modern, responsive, user-friendly website that turns visitors into paying customers is a must-have tool in today’s digital world.
Already have a website? That’s great—but is it working for you? Is it bringing in new clients and generating the results you need? If your site has been live for months or even years without delivering the traffic or conversions you expect, it might be time to consider a refresh. Or perhaps you just need to give it a boost with better SEO or targeted advertising.
That’s why a professional website audit can make all the difference. Whether you need a brand-new website, an upgrade, or help optimizing what you already have, we’re here to help you make the most of your online presence. Let’s create a website that works as hard as you do!
Whether we're creating a brand-new website for you, auditing, or refreshing your current one, here's what we focus on.
Mobile Responsiveness
Mobile responsiveness is no longer optional—it’s essential. Google has made it clear that mobile-friendly websites are a priority in search rankings. Chances are, you’re reading this on your phone right now. Imagine if everything looked messy and hard to navigate—you’d probably lose interest right away.
In South Africa, over 70% of people use their mobile devices to browse the internet. If your website isn’t optimized for mobile, you could be missing out on a huge chunk of potential traffic. But it’s not just about resizing for smaller screens; it’s about ensuring your site loads quickly, has text that’s easy to read, properly placed images, and an overall seamless mobile experience.
User experience (UX)
We prioritize user experience because it truly matters.
Think about how frustrating it is to visit a slow website or struggle to find basic information. It happens far too often—how many times have you searched endlessly for a simple contact number or a service page?
We make sure your website is fast, easy to navigate, and ensures all key information is simple to find.
Plus, we offer reliable hosting services on your behalf, so you won’t have to deal with the hassle of service providers or the headaches that come with it.
Local competition
Local competition is an important factor to keep in mind. To stand out, your business needs more than just a digital presence—it needs a website that acts as a 24/7 salesperson for your brand. A well-designed, engaging, and functional website is key to capturing the attention of your ideal customers.
When we conduct an audit of your existing website or help build a new one, we also assess how it’s performing on Google search results (if it’s already live).
For new websites, we provide tailored advice on the features you’ll need to set your site up for success. However, it’s important to understand that achieving top rankings on Google doesn’t happen overnight. It requires consistent effort, a solid strategy, excellent service delivery, and ongoing hard work to climb above the competition.
Behind the Scenes: Our Process for Designing Websites
You’ve see the final result of a website before – a stunning, functional site that represents your company and your brand. But have you ever wondered what goes into creating the website?
It’s a very creative and collaborative process. We at WebCraft Studio work closely with our clients to help them bring their vision to reality.
Step 1: Getting to Know You, Your Business, and Your Brand
Before we begin your project, a 50% deposit is required to get started.
Once the deposit is received, we’ll officially kick off the project and schedule an onboarding call with you. For more complex projects, this call may take place online rather than over the phone.
Understanding who you are, what you do, and the value your business offers is crucial to delivering a website that truly works for you.
Our process starts with a call to discuss your requirements and provide any recommendations needed to get the project moving in the right direction.
We’ll also collect key details, such as your logo (if you have one), current branding, existing website (if you’re looking for a redesign), written content (if it’s ready), and information about your hosting provider (if applicable). With this information in hand, we’ll be ready to begin crafting your project.
Step 2: The Design and Creation Process
Once we have all the information and requirements needed, we’ll move into the design phase. Keeping your goals in mind, we’ll create the “first draft” of your website. This typically takes 1-2 weeks, though larger projects may require 3-4 weeks.
During this process, we’ll keep you updated on our progress so you’re never left wondering how things are going.
Your website will be developed in our secure development environment. This functions just like a real website but without being live on your domain yet.
Step 3: Presenting the First Draft and Collaborating
Once we’ve completed the first draft, we’ll provide you with a link to view your site hosted on one of our domains. It will function as your actual website, just without your domain name.
This gives you the opportunity to review the site and prepare any feedback before our collaboration call.
In the same email containing the first draft link, you’ll find a link to schedule a one-on-one online meeting with us. During this meeting, we’ll discuss any changes, preferences, or improvements you’d like for the site.
We typically use Google Meet for our online meetings but are happy to accommodate Zoom if preferred.
Note: We do not use Microsoft Teams for one-on-one meetings.
Step 4: Final Approval and Going Live
Once we’ve received your feedback, we’ll implement the requested changes to your website. Please ensure that the feedback and changes align with the scope outlined in the original quotation and agreement.
When you’re satisfied with the website and ready to take it live, we’ll issue the final project invoice. Once the payment is completed, we’ll proceed with making your site live.
If you already have a hosting provider, we’ll need the necessary login credentials to complete the process.
If you don’t have a hosting provider, we’d be happy to assist you with one of our hosting plans.
Step 5: Launching Your Site and Keeping It Running
We don’t just take your site live and leave you to figure things out on your own.
We’re here to help you maintain your website, either through a retainer plan or on an ad hoc basis.
Our website support services start at R400 per hour.
Additionally, we can recommend a tailored marketing strategy to drive the right kind of traffic to your site—the kind that helps boost your sales and takes your business to the next level.
